Presents Under the Tree
Picture: Awen Photography @ Flickr.com

With only 9 days to go before it’s Christmas it’s time I started putting presents under the tree – but what, I hear you ask, will they be?

Ho, ho, ho...Today’s gift is for our daughter, Ferne – it’s mostly red and sparkly so I know it’s going to be a huge hit. If you’re thinking it looks quite large for a girl of 4-years-old you’d be right. Our little lamb is very tall so I’ve bought age 6 in the dress and cardigan.

Both the velour dress (£17) and the cotton cardigan (£9) are from Tu at Sainsbury’s. The cardigan is looking a bit pink in this picture but it is actually pillar-box red. Mademoiselle should get a lot of wear out of the dress at birthday parties and the cardi will be worn until the last sequin comes off (our Ferne does like a bit of bling).

The glittery shoes (£12), tights (£9 for two pairs) and hairclips (£3) are all from Marks & Spencer. And, may I add, just how cute are those shoes? They’ve got ‘Dorothy’ written all over them.

And voila! There you have it today’s gift. Click back tomorrow to see what else is under the tree…
